Zero Emission Activities at New-Build Housing Sites
Achieved Zero Emissions at All of Our 91 Offices

Since the implementation of the Factory Depot Project in FY-2002, we have steadily expanded the target areas, and by the end of FY-2005 we achieved zero emissions at all 91 offices. As a result, 8,600 buildings achieved zero emissions in FY 2005, which represents an approximately 2.7-fold increase compared to the previous fiscal year. The accumulated total reached 12,540 buildings.

We will promote precut methods and packing improvements, and reduce the mill ends of roof tiles, plasterboards and cardboard outputs. We are continuing our research and development to recycle assembled-byproducts at our factories and reuse them at new construction sites as components and packing materials.

Factory Depot Project

We have established a unique recycling system called the Factory Depot Project and achieved zero emissions at new construction sites. The system is to collect and transport byproducts generated at new construction sites to our factories, and sort and compress them there, and then put them on our factory's recycling, in order to recycle 100% of byproducts.
